Chapter 3.99     Penalties

3.9901     General

Any person violating any of the provisions of Chapter 3.03, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $200 for the first offense, and for any subsequent offense, by a fine not exceeding three hundred dollars ($300) or imprisonment in the County Jail for 30 days, or both such fine and imprisonment, and in all cases such penalty plus the costs of the prosecution.

3.9902     Impounding Firearms

In addition to the penalties as prescribed in the preceding section, any person violating Section 3.0303 may upon order of the Court having jurisdiction, have his firearm or air gun impounded for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days for any one offense.
