Scotland is located in the northern part of Bon Homme County on US Hwy 25 in south eastern South Dakota. Scotland is centrally located between three of South Dakota's largest cities: Sioux Falls, Mitchell, and Yankton. Scotland is best known for its Highlander school mascot. Recreational opportunities include: hunting, fishing, camping, golf, baseball, and trap shooting. Scotland is a place that you could call home no matter what your age; If you are starting a family, retiring, or just looking for a smaller community to live, work, and play.
