The special meeting of the City of Scotland was called to order by Mayor Curtis Hofer at 5:00 pm on Monday, July 27, 2020. The following council members answered to roll call: Randy Abbink, Tim Asche, Jerry Nelson, Dennis Bietz, Randy Thum, and Sean Barrett. Others present were Finance Officer Tanya Bult, Peggy Schelske, Jared Zweifel, Joe Keppen, and Dennis Kronaizl.

A motion was made by Thum, second by Bietz to approve the agenda. All voted in favor. Motion Carried.

Public Land Auction for ORIG - LOTS 10, 11, 12 BLK 16 to the City of Scotland, Bon Homme County, South Dakota. Kronaizl Insurance opened bids at $5,000. Zweifel upped the bid to $5,100. Kronaizl Insurance next bid was $6,000. With no further bids the property was sold to the highest bidder Kronaizl Insurance at the purchase price of $6,000.

2021 Budget was reviewed by fund/activity/account line item by line item.

With no further business to discuss a motion was made by Thum, seconded by Bietz to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 pm. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
