The special meeting of the City of Scotland was called to order by Mayor Randy Thum at 5:01pm on Monday, September 25, 2023. Those council members present Randy Abbink, Tim Asche, Victor Settje, Sean Barrett and Dennis Bietz. Those council members absent were Myles Runyon. Others that were present were Tanya Bult and Peggy Schelske.
2024 Appropriation Ordinance - A motion was made by Bietz, second by Settje to approve the second reading of the 2024 Appropriation Ordinance #2023-01. All voted in favor. Motion carried.

2024 APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE
Be it ordained by the City of Scotland that the following sums are appropriated to meet the obligations of the municipality:
The Finance Officer is directed to certify the following dollar amount of tax levies made in this ordinance to the County Auditor: $446,535.00.

A motion was made by Abbink, second by Asche to hire Tim Trautmann as city maintenance at $20.00 per hour. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
With no further business to discuss a motion was made by Bietz, second by Abbink to adjourn the meeting at 5:03pm. All voted in favor. Motion carried.
